These terms cover Thinware Runbook Builder (the Builder), the viewer it places inside every interactive runbook so a browser can display it, and the other files in the download: the Design Guide, the sample runbook and the README.

1. Use. You may use the Builder free of charge, for any purpose including paid work, to build interactive runbooks from plain-text runbooks and to read and follow interactive runbooks.
2. Your runbooks. What you write in a runbook is yours. You may share the interactive runbooks you build with anyone, and charge for the runbooks you write. The viewer inside them stays Thinware's and travels only as part of those runbooks.
3. The Design Guide and the sample runbook. You may copy them and give them to the people and the AI tools that draft runbooks for you, with the Design Guide's notice kept.
4. Keeping it intact. You may not modify the Builder or the viewer, or edit an interactive runbook by hand. To change a runbook, edit its plain-text runbook and build it again. You may not remove or alter the copyright and license notice in the Builder, the viewer or a runbook.
5. Getting it. Thinware supplies the Builder only through runbookbuilder.com. You may not sell or redistribute the Builder, and a copy from anywhere else is not covered by these terms.
6. No warranty. The Builder, the viewer and the other files in the download are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Thinware, Inc. is not liable for any damage or loss arising from them or from any runbook built with them. You are responsible for the commands you run, and for the runbooks you write and share.
7. Ending. If you break these terms, your license ends and you must stop using the Builder. Texas law governs these terms.
