Support for Thinware Runbook Builder is by email. Write to support@thinware.net and we reply within two business days.

What to send

• The Builder version. It's in the About dialog: the About button at the top right of the Builder ("About Thinware Runbook Builder"), or in the left column of any interactive runbook ("Built with Thinware Runbook Builder").
• For a runbook that won't build: the text of the error card, and the plain-text runbook itself, with any secrets taken out.
• For an interactive runbook that behaves oddly: the browser and its version (Chrome and Edge 102 or later and Firefox 112 or later are supported), what you did, and what you expected to see.

The Builder makes no network requests, so we never see your runbooks. If you want us to look at one, you have to send it.

Before you write

Most build problems are one of a short list of messages, each with a fix: see Troubleshooting in the documentation.

If you were given an interactive runbook that shows "This runbook cannot be shown", send it back to whoever built it, or drop it on the Builder yourself: it takes the runbook text out, lists anything that needs correcting, and builds it again with the current version (Upgrading in the documentation).
